We have been licensed and in business for over 30 consecutive years doing only residential work in the same area. We work closely with the clients to design a project to fit their budget and needs. We like to build relationships as well as dreams with our clients.
Cove Creek Construction, Incorporated has one mission: To combine quality construction with the best customer satisfaction in Western North Carolina.
Cove Creek Construction specializes in all phases of residential remodeling, such as whole house remodels, additions, decks, repair and maintenance, garages, carports, kitchens, baths, and workshops. Most customers are upgrading their houses to give it that special warmth of a home, enlarging to accommodate growing families, or expanding theri outside living areas with decks or patios.

The owner, Chris Farrell, started out by enrolling in the carpentry program at Haywood Community College in 1981. After finishing with the carpentry program he worked for a few local contractors until deciding to apply for his General Contractors license in 1986, at the age of 25 and starting his own company known as Cove Creek Construction, Inc. Immediately joined the local Home Builders Association and was voted president in 1989 for a year. Served on the board of directors for many terms since and has just recently rotated off the board again.
Cove Creek has remained a small company so we can concentrate on the customers and their homes. Cove Creek and Chris are active in the community donating time to Habitat for Humanity and the United Way for many years.
Further education includes Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Green Professional (CGP), and Certified Aging-In Place Specialist (CAPS). These are designations accomplished through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Chris is a member of the Asheville Home Builders Association; a member of the National Home Builders Association since 1987; and a member of the Better Business Bureau since 1990.
Another asset of Cove Creek Construction, Inc. is the addition of the E-Z Breathe Ventilation System. E-Z Breathe expels contaminated air in your home making the inside air a better quality. The E-Z Breathe system is the ultimate dehumidifier, air purifier, and ventilation system.
Chris is trained on StablWall. StablWall is carbon fiber reinforced polymer sheets applied on cracked residential foundation walls to strengthen walls and concrete structures. It is as thin as a dime and stronger than steel.
